Comment: You sent the swap four days late and didn’t bother telling me you would sending it late until after the send by date when it was already late. Yes, I know you said you went away as a chaperone for your local Girl Guards group, but you knew you would be away over the weekend and didn’t take the time to tell me before hand that you would be sending the swap late. It’s common courtesy to let your partner know when a swap is going to be late. It’s your responsibility to let a partner you’re going to be late sending a swap before it’s actually late, not three days after it’s already late.
Also, you messaged me on April 26th and 27th to say the swap was on the way, implying that you had already sent it. In fact you said “that’s why your package was a couple days late in sending!†It was 4 days late in being sent. You didn’t send it out until April 28th and that’s right on the label the post office printed out and stuck on the package. My best advice to you would be to be honest about when you’re going to be sending a swap out. Most people, including me are understanding if you let us know ahead of time, not after it’s already late.
