Anyway - this is what I wrote in the comments on that swap on December 7: How fun! Learning abstract! I know nothing about what makes an abstract work or not, as I am a realist when painting. I love the colors and vibrancy of the ATC. Thanks! And I loved the tiny envelope you made to put the ATC in :-)

Comment: You are so funny! The "ugliest background" you ever made - haha. Actually I rather like it. The green and blue blended together nicely providing a bit of texture. And of course I like the added plants :-) I had fun with the one I did. I lightly put on white paint and then pressed black paper into it. Then refined it a bit and made Birch trees. Loved how it worked out.

Comment: Hello! Thank you for the stamps! I was really excited to see the postmark on the envelope read "Sacramento". I will be going there this Fall to study for one quarter. I'm really excited! I agree with what you said about stamp collecting. It's really easy to come back to after a while and doesn't require a lot of commitment, which is why it has stuck with me for a very long time. It's also really fun to receive stamps from swaps. It's like opening a mystery box! You never know what you'll get, but you'll almost always find something new and interesting for the collection. Indentifying plants is really fun! I wish I have a plant guide to help me identify plants here in Indonesia. I haven't found one that I like yet. Anyways, thank you again for the stamps and the note!
