Comment: Thanks for looking. There area I lived in Japan had a lot of Peruvians and Brazilians who (mostly) worked in the factories. If you could get the recipe for your grandfather's sauce, that would be fantastic. I've tried and tried to recreate the sauce that was served at the restaurant, but it's never quite right. I'm fairly certain it was ahi chiles that are use, though.
