Comment: Thanks for the PC! There are so many letters you could have used to send that one out.. how does one decide. But clever on how you used the Q. That is a hard one. I like it! Thanks again.
Comment: Thank you so much for this great postcard. I did not know about those tobacco farms which are still growing tobacco these days and enjoyed the card itself as well as those pretty stamps on your card. Thank you.
Comment: Hi Jim, thank you for the PC, love all the cool postage stamps, much appreciated. I read this book! It's a crazy story...real life is stranger than fiction...Happy Spring swapping. peace love light
Comment: Thanks for the card and special postmark too! I have sung the Katy song many many times to a special little girl I knew named Katie. I loved all the choices.
Comment: The Mets!!! HAHAHAHAHA, too funny. Thanks so much, everyone always send the "Spankies" and I detest that team. I say Go Mets too, as they are not in the same division as the Rays. :)
Comment: Hello, thanks for the card received today, I have a postcard website you can check here if you wish: http://postcard.pics-sydney.com.au

Comment: Thank you very much for the postcard! Great timing with the picture... I went to see several games of the women soccer world championship and tried to take pictures... its not so easy!
Comment: Thanks for the great card! And yes, we were very close to the Monument Fire -- had a lot of friends evacuated. If you were in Tombstone you were very close to us as it is only about 18 miles east of us. But we are finally getting some rain so hopefully the fire danger will drop. Again, thanks for the neat card, and happy swapping!
Comment: Yes ... um ... so ... what ARE they doing with that deer?? According to the card, it is "a sisterly game of 'Kiss Me Deer.'" Yeah, definitely creepy! Please give Hansel a scratch on the head for me. :-)
Comment: I cracked up on your lie, my husband read it and he thought it was real so I didn't tell him any difference, that's what he gets for reading my mail!
Comment: Well I agree the card looks a little boring and yeah ...the alarming part is that down in the right hand corner it said 1/6 does that mean there are 5 more out there that I have the possibility of getting? lol The Great Gatsby...noted...that it is a good book and will have to put it on the read list. Have a nice day! Lisa
Comment: I'm not sure what's going on in this postcard either - kinda looks like she's a corpse draped with a colorful blanket and people holding flowers around her. Art - who knew? thank you! mimisfrog
Comment: Thank you for the card, yes it does look like an egg. When I read the card it says that she is a nun from the 1400's . she does have a wonderful face.
Comment: Believe me there is nothing "ugly" about a beach in FL with the winter we are having in PA this year :) Thanks for the "beautiful" view and "fantasy"!!!!
Comment: Hi! Thank you very much for the PC! It's very simple, but I really really like it, since I love blue! I was also very surprised to see a Edgar A. Poe stamp. It's so cool! He looks pretty handsome, hahaha. Thanks! :D
Comment: Thanks for the beautiful ad card! I'm not sure what a tree on an island in the middle of a lake has to do with wine but it still is beautiful! E :)
Comment: Thanks for the interesting foodie postcard. I understand what you mean about the piccy..the food always looks so different to real life :-)
Appreciate the nice stamps on the back also.
Comment: Thanks! I have had it, but not in a while. Good summer beer. My daughter is a big moose fan and just would not part with the card once it came in the door. We both liked it. Thanks.
Comment: Haven't seen this one yet, but we just recently got the hops bill passed here in the state and a lot of the more exotic beers are still making their way down here. I'm amused that both my partners sent me moose inspired beer. lol!
Comment: Thank you. I love the postcard, I am sorry to hear your aunt had it. This is important to know, but my DAD had breast cancer too. Men get it too.
Comment: Jim!! Thank you for the Bob Marley card!! I am a HUGE fan of his since high school! ^_^ You would be surprised, but we at the Philippines play him all year round in our beaches come rain or shine hahahahha ^_^
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful postcard. I didn't know who Holofernes was either, but I guessed that he was a figure in the Bible. (I looked it up & I was right!)
Comment: Thank you for the pc. I have to admit, I'm not much of a "sports gal" so I feel the same way about my Camden Yards pc's that you do about this one. :P
Comment: Thank you very much. I LOVE the card. Funny my BFF us from Hawaii and she is the great great of Queen Liliuokalani..Kai will be thrilled to know I recieved this!! OHDH is from CT also...Wallingford!
Comment: Thank you! (I'm sorry it took me so long to rate. I just found a little stack of 'to be rated' postcards that were pushed aside and overlooked.)
Comment: I am so sorry that I had not rated you yet. I thought I had. What a massive postcard. Have seen a bit of Connecticut in movies and television shows. What an amazing history it has.
Thank you so much.
Comment: Hello Jim,
Well, we met on U and here we are again at the "T is for...Postcard" Swap. I apologize for being so slow in rating you. The place featured on the postcard looks like a place I would like to visit. Thank you for sharing the place with me. Hope you are having a nice summer and it is not too hot for you. Thanks again for the postcard and it will be added to my growing collection, happily. Until we meet again!

Comment: Hello Jim,
I received your postcard recently for the "U is for..." Postcard Swap. The creatures on the front are kind of ugly. I will be adding your "ugly" postcard to my ever-growing and ever-changing Personal POstcard collection. Your postcard will later become a part of a Postcard Journal I will be putting together once this A-Z Postcard Swap ends. Hope we continue to cross paths periodically. Have a Happy Summer.

P.S. I see your live in Hartford. I have a sister that lives down the road a little ways in Old Greenwich, CT. She works in Stamford.
Comment: thanks for the card. I'm not a baseball fan at all, the only baseball games I go to are my kids or grandson's games so the Mets card is OK by me.
Comment: Thanks for the card, if you have been contected by the organiser about sending more than one card please don't send again as I'm happy with what I recieved.
Comment: Thank you for the postcard promoting Eric Sloane's exhibit at the New Britain Museum of Art. I like the desolate feel of the work pictured on the card.
Comment: Thank you for the great 'R' postcard! The popular saying in the 1970's was 'People don't tan in Oregon in the summer, they RUST!' Your 'r' for rust brought that to mind. :D
Comment: Sorry I'm so late in rating! Thanks for the postcard history lesson in photo development. I miss this side of photo taking...digital has its ups...but so much is lost too..
Comment: Hello Jim,
I want to extend my appreciation for the postcard you sent me for the "S is for....Postcard" Swap. I like the postcard as it is different due to it being an art piece over a picture of something about where you live. I will look forward to adding your postcard to my ever-growing and ever-changing postcard collection. My goal with all the postcards I'm collecting is to put together a special postcard journal. I have a sister that lives in Greenwich, CT. so I have heard about the hot weather. It has been in the 90's in NM, but we are very dry--no humidity which makes it more bearable. I think this may be our first swap together. Hope we have other opportunities to swap with one another. Have a good summer--hopefully not too hot.

Comment: Thank you for the lovely postcard! It must be wonderful for the former occupants of the house to live there; it is such a beautiful house. :0)
Comment: Jim
I got your card in the mail this morning. I'm going to have to look Zippy up on the internet. I'm sure he's a really happy guy. Thanks for nice note and have a fun time with the rest of the swap.

Comment: Hello James
Thanks for the strange, beautiful and wonderfully well chosen card. What an unusual image- it feels like the tiger is creeping up on that unwary child even though you know its a painting the boy is just standing in front of. Royal photographic society of Bath too! he he - it was a great place with very interesting exhibitions that is unfortunately now being turned into a shopping centre. Still there is lacock Abby not far away which is credited as being the place that Fox Talbot came up with the process of making early photographic images and they have exhibitions there too but you probably know that already. I will stop burbling on now- Great card choice:-)
All the best
Zoe
Comment: Thank you for very lovely and unusual postcard. Here is currently raining, but for the past few days it was very "summerish" weather - hot and warm. Bye from Croatia
Comment: I love the postcard! I also love the older homes like the one on the postcard. Just think of the stories they could tell.. the things they have seen. Thanks!!
I will send you one of the postcards I designed for the swap.. so look for it in the mail!!
