Description:

This swap is for a small dimentional lace flower. Make a lace flower that would look great pinned on a jacket lapel or as a small corsage on a blouse. The one in the picture is made from aproxamately 12 inches of a simple edge pattern. I turned it around and baste stiched the bottom edge to its self as I twisted it on its self. The leaves are made separately and attached to the back. The flower is about 3 inches across. I used a corsage pin to pin it to my jacket. I use size 10 thread and was able to pull the tatted stitches tight so it didn't need starch or other stiffener to hold its shape. Depending on the thread you use your flower may need stiffening. Even though its demential it still doesn't stand up real high so it should be ok in a padded envelop to mail it.

you will make one for one partner. Artist choice as to lace type, thread and color. The flower can be realistic or as a fantasy flower.

Questions or suggestions please IM me.

I made my flower...it is a great idea to use edging! I did the same and just love it. Ive looked at Hobby Lobby for one of those longer corsage_type pins but cant find one. I have regular brooch findings, but would prefer the other. Anyone have any suggestions?
