PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE JOINING!!!!!

It's Inchie time!!!

Don't know what an Inchie is? Well look it up silly!!!!

An Inchie is exactly what it sounds like. It's a 1inch x 1 inch artistic masterpiece (but no pressure ha ha).

For this swap, you will be making a set of 4 Inchies for your 1 partner. The theme is Heart. Feel free to interpret it however you want. And being this the first of hopefully many Inchie swaps, I'm leaving the materials and techniques used the sender's choice, but please be mindful of your partner's likes and dislikes. You can collage, paint, draw, you can even sew your Inchies!!! Go get creative, as this is you chance to try out new techniques without being tied down to one.

Rules:

You must send a set of 4 Inchies in the given theme. Extras are acceptable, but not required.

You must be in good Swap-Bot standing. I WILL be checking profiles and I reserve the right to BAN anyone from the swap.

No sticker slapping. Please put effort into your work. Make it something you would be happy to receive.

Use sturdy materials. Chipboard is the standard, but you can use recycled cardboard, card stock, layers of felt, as long as they can support themselves.

Add your name/screen name, the name of the swap, the name of the set (if any), and some form of contact information either to the back of each Inchie (yes, I know they are small) or on a separate piece of paper in the envelope with the Inchies.

You will rate your partner accordingly. 5 if swap is received and follows the above guidelines. 3 if swap was received but does not follow the above guidelines. 1 if swap is not received and you have tried to make contact with your partner with no response.

Notes:

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me. I'm usually near the computer. There are also lots of blogs and some YouTube videos on Inchies if you would like examples.

This swap IS International, so be aware that you may need an extra stamp when you send your Inchies. You also may want to get tracking if sending Internationally.

This is my first attempt at inchies. Can you tell me what people usually collect them for and what they do with them? They look really cool so I'm charged up for trying to make them!

By the way, I just saw a great video on Youtube for inchies and she suggested using a Crescent brand of inchies, so that's what I ordered to use. I hope that's okay!

Here's the link to the video if anyone is interested: Layered Paper Inches

@Cakers I just replied to the message you sent me, and lol because I gave you a link to the same video you just gave me ha ha, But yes, that will be absolutely fine if that is what you want to use. I only require that the materials are sturdy, but I've seen the Crescent brand before so you will be okay.
