For this swap you will have to crochet 10 flowers for each partner-so 20 total - 5 larger(3 inches or larger) and 5 smaller (1.5 inches or less). Post your favorite colors below in the comments- at least several choices. As always, just natural fiber yarn can be used.

Me as well, any colors are just fine! I love making crocheted flowers, so I'll try and make each one a different pattern, as I have the book "100 Crocheted Flowers." It is a favorite pattern book of mine.

So far we all want to be surprised! That is fun. Yes, I saw that book-very nice. I also have a few japanese flower and motif books, so it will be fun to learn some new ones.

www.crochetpatterncentral.com -- in the free pattern directory, they also have lots of nice (and easy) flower patterns too. I got some of my favorite flower patterns from there.

I'm having a great time already making flowers with the cotton scented yarn, so some of my flowers will smell good, too! The lavender used on a thistle pattern is especially nice, I think. Very effective.
