Description:

Hey all you Zentangle fans I have found out something else we can do to inspire each other.

Let's make Inspiration Boards together. This is based on the Zentangle Legend at the following address: http://www.zentangle.com/products-legend.php

We will do ours a little different.

Paper Size 8 1/2" X 11" white thick cardstock (heavier the paper weight the better)

Let's make 9, 2" x 2" zentangle squares and paste them on the 8 1/2" x 11" paper.

Any quality ink or pencil can be used.

You can use colored inks or black and white.

There are some really good questions with answers in the discussion part of this page for more info.

You will have 1 partner

Must have 4.7 or higher rating.

Contact me with any questions at all.

thanks

OK I am a world class doodler, now I can say I am a Zentangler!! LOL. Sounds more grown-up and artsy. Can/t wait to get started.

Do let me know about the borders, are they drawn on the tile in advance or is it just a visual border? How big for a 2x2?

Another question fot eh black and white ones? Pencil or ink? Ball point or gel?

So do you need the kit to do this? In searching I find the how to nowhere.

ncpelican 02/23/2008 #

Could this be done by making one or two larger zentangles and then cutting these up into the 2x2 squares?

stampvamp 02/23/2008 #

Wow great questions....Thanks for all the interest!

-You don't have to buy the kit. -Yes, you could make one big zentangle then cut in 2 x 2 squares as long as each 2 x 2 has a different "style" to inspire your partner -Use any quality ink or colored pencil --You can do black and white or use color -- As far as borders...you can draw them or just doodle on the way to the end of your 2 x2 square...does that make sense? --Relax and have fun....as long as you have 9 different zentangles that measure 2 x 2 and they are neatly put on a 8 1/2 x 11 paper you can't go wrong.

THANKS!!!! Anymore questions? Feel free to ask!

hey folks! I missed this swap. :-( But I did start a zentangle group. click on Find Groups, search for Zentangle, and join. I'm not sure what we can create as a group, but could be a nice forum for dialog on this exciting world of doodling.

oh yes, let's give big fifty cent grown up names to everything we do!
