Kids/Teens Videogames Craft Swap

This swap is the brain-child of my 13 year old son.

He came up with the idea of organising some child & teen friendly swaps to keep him occupied over the summer (it's either that or I give him extra Maths homework ;P Mwahaha)

YOUR KIDS WILL BE CREATING FOUR (4) CRAFTED FLAT GOODIES FOR THEIR PARTNERS. THESE CAN BE ATCs, BOOKMARKS, MAGNETS OR SIMILAR.

For this swap, each participant will list 3-5 of their childs favourite videogames (and add their fave characters too, if they wish) along with names and ages, in the comments section.

You will have ONE partner FAMILY, when partners are assigned, you can check how many kids are participating from your chosen family. For example, if the family you are sending to has 2 participants - you would make 2 items for each. I hope that makes sense!! You will have 2 weeks from sign up to create your awesome pieces :D

NOW FOR THE BORING BIT.....

As the designated adult and accountholder IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE

1. Your offspring make their crafts!

2. The correct number of items are made.

3. Items are made to THE BEST OF THEIR ABILITIES (kids have different levels of abilities, we all get that, BUT what they send MUST be their best work and something they would be happy to receive).

4. Swap must be sent on time (Kids have NO PATIENCE and it's not fair if they've worked hard and sent off on time only to wait ages to receive a package themselves).

5. FLAKING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!!! Flaking is bad enough, but to flake on a kid is just plain mean!!

In the words of The Kid "if anyone flakes, I shall hunt them down, disembowel them with a rusty toothbrush, then cast them into the firey depths of the low-ratings section"

If this swap goes well, it is our intention to create more fun swaps to keep Summer Holiday boredom at bay. Any ideas will be welcomed. We are thinking, if these are popular, to host multiple versions of a swap for different age bands.

The rating requirement for this swap will be set quite high at 4.9 as I want to do everything possible to ensure a perfect swap for the participating Kids. No recent 1's, no unexplained 3's. I will be checking each profile and reserve the right to remove anyone I feel even slightly dubious about. If you have concerns, please PM me - if we can work it out - great :D
