Beginner Friendly ATC - Boastful Valentine

Who:

• Anyone in the Newbie Helpers group who would like to try their hand at an ATC

• Anyone in the Newbie Helpers group who would not mind potentially receiving an ATC from an absolute beginner

• This swap is open to everyone in the group, but flakers will be banned

What:

• We will be swapping 1 ATC with 1 partner.

• The theme is “Boastful Valentine.” It’s not so much a traditional Valentine’s theme as it is a chance to create a fabulous, self-centered (or self-affirming), boastful, etc. character and design the sort of Valentine’s message they would send.

• This character definitely doesn’t send “Be My Valentine” messages, because he/she knows that they’re so wonderful, they can have whoever they want. However, they’re also so fabulous, they don’t need to insult others. Please have fun, but keep to amusing, witty, or ridiculous boasting instead of anything that belittles your recipient. (‘cause that’s just not cool, not even in jest.)

• Don’t forget to include this swap’s name and your Swap-Bot name on the back of the ATC.

• Beginners, for help with ATC basics, please refer to our Newbie Helpers thread on ATCs or to this ATC Advice thread in the public forums.

• Please no "sticker slapping." This means that you may use stickers, but they cannot be the primary/only artistic element on your ATC.

• Note: The image for this swap is from one of my altered rolos. It fits the spirit of this swap’s theme, but it’s the wrong dimensions for an ATC. Your ATC must be 3.5 x 2.5 inches (or the metric equivalent.)

When:

• The deadline for sending your ATC is February 13. This means that you may be receiving an ATC well after Valentine’s Day.
