Send your partner a notecard with a note written inside it to say "Hello". Your card can even have "Hello!" printed on the front or a similar such greeting. Please write more than 2 or 3 sentences. Write as if you're spending time with a friend, just a friendly little note.

Then, before sealing, include a blank notecard that your partner can use.

Karla, can the card we write in be handmade? (I wouldn't send a handmade blank card as I know not everyone appreciates them.)

Yes, a handmade notecard could be used to write to your partner. Something to make your partner smile. :)

And personally speaking, I don't mind receiving a blank handmade notecard. Anyone is welcome to ask their partner if they'd like one, too, or read their profile to see if there is mention of wanting/not wanting them.

But yes, like you mentioned, not everyone appreciates a handmade notecard, so if you're not sure your partner would appreciate your handmade notecard, it's best not to send one for the blank one. The one you write in would be ok to be handmade, however.
