Description: | |
For this swap you get to take an amazing postcard and use it as inspiration to write a haiku. The haiku should match the postcard in theme in some way. You can be as creative as you want with it. (So, if you have a postcard with a peacock, don't write a haiku about cats.) A haiku is a form of Japanese poetry that typically has 17 syllables. In English, it is often in three lines with a 5-7-5 syllable count. They don't usually rhyme and often have a reference season (though it isn't required.) No specifications on postcards. They can be store bought, hand made, zazzle or any other kind, as long as they provide inspiration for your haiku. You can find some examples here: This swap has a quick turn around, so please don't join if you feel you can't send on time. 2 partners. 4.9 rating. Experienced swappers only. (At least 10 type 2/3 swaps.) No recent 3s or 5s. No flakers. I reserve the right to ban users for any reason. Thanks for swapping! |
