Description:

i just realised that a knitter can´t have enough stitchmarkers.

so let´s have another stitchmarker swap. it´s fun, easy and lightweight - so it´s also international.

you will have one partner and send a set of 5 stitchmarkers. the markers can be handmade or storebought and should fit a size 10 needle.

... recent no-sends wil get you an automatic ban & no ratings lower than 4.5.

have fun & happy swapping!

Does anybody have a link to a site to show how to make them? I could use some help.

Hi fellow knitters. You are so right, when you say that you can't have too many. I make them and collect them. It's so fun to work on a project and choose which ones I'll use. There are many different types to use, including sock markers (often letters A-H and tend to be on smaller rings since the needles are small) and there are some that have a large sized ring on one end of the "bead" and a smaller one on the other, making them dual-purpose depending on needle size. There a snag free types which I like, but are usually on a stiff beading thread or tiger tail. The snag factor can be a pain. Also ones that are too long can sometimes get woven in or tangled if you are flying through a row. I really hope this one works out and that lots sign up. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email me. You can look on Etsy.com for ideas if you need inspiration.

Katie's package arrived today with my stitch markers and it was such a wonderful surprise! She used my Sound of Music movie fav and sent the most beautiful little silver bells on my markers. I will use them for all my holiday gift making knit projects!
