The Just Bead It Group's 2nd Group Swap! As the Just Bead It! Group has a number of members who focus on different areas of beading(embroidery, jewelery, beaded boxes, making beads) We felt it would be appropriate to run regular swaps that everyone could join and enjoy. So, this swap is the second of many monthly swaps focused on one particular, open theme and this month's theme is MAY FLOWERS, following the April showers. You are free to interpret this theme in anyway - make it personal to you. You are also free to make whatever you like, but please be aware that by signing up for this swap you should also be open-minded about what you receive. (For instance, you may not normally wear jewelery, but you may receive a necklace or your partner may specialise in beading with wire work when you'd really prefer a beaded bag!) By being open-minded about what you might receive, you're also potentially learning to appreciate something new and may come to understand why other people love doing their particular form of beading. Having said all that, if you love making bracelets but want to try bead collages for this swap, so be it. Be inspired! You will need to be a member of the Just Bead It! Group, to join this swap, you will need to meet the entry requirements for the group both at sign up and before partners are allocated. Anyone who does not meet these requirements will be dropped from the swap. If anyone would like to list any creative ideas so others can be inspired...please list in the comment section. Even listing what you received in the last swap would be interesting and inspiring. Feel free to ask questions! Don't forget to rate your partners, it's an important part of swap-bot. Happy Swapping! |
