To start- this is a very time intensive swap and the sign up and send by dates reflect this For this swap we will create a selection of lists for your partner. It will serve as an inspiration source for them when they are struggling in the crafting or real world. Choose at least 12 of these topics and neatly write or type the answers and explanations if needed. How you choose to send this to your partner is up to you- either using a premade notebook, hand binding a small journal, making a mini-smash book type object, the possibilities are endless. Please nicely decorate your swap, this is supposed to serve as an inspiration for them. 1.Top 15 favorite songs You are of course welcome to add more topics than just 12 or that are listed here, the only requirement is that at least entries, with at least 12 topics coming from the above list. Beyond the lists you can add art, photos, envies of small surprises like confetti, or other things you want to add. This is sender’s choice but do take a moment to look at your partner’s profile and avoid any major dislikes they may have. On the matter of crafting and creation- use a STRONG adhesive. Cut lines neatly, consider the layout before you begin. Simple steps like this will take your swaps to a whole new level. Also, good packaging is a MUST. Spending 12 hours on an altered book and then mailing it without bubble wrap or padding is asking for disaster. Consider this! This is not supposed to be a terribly expensive swap, rather a time intensive one that shows you how intense but gratifying some swaps can be in a SAFE environment. Remember to take shipping costs into account when creating your collection- this may not be the time to hand bind a book with 50 sheets of watercolor paper and a wood cover. Questions? |
