The next in our shaped ATC series is a square. How can an ATC be square without being a twinchie, you ask? Well, you start with a 2 1/2" square and then extend something above the square to the 3 1/2" mark! You could have a garden full of flowers and have a butterfly with wings that go off the square. You could go steampunk and have gears or a man with a very tall hat. In the photo above, the stem and leaves of the cherries are the extension. Use your imagination and come up with something unique. (I thought a crown would be a good one, too.) Make it sturdy and well made. Be sure that your extension is sturdy, too! It doesn't have to be as heavy as ATC backers usually are, but sturdy, nonetheless. You can use any medium you like and any color you choose. You might want to check your partners' profiles to see what colors they hate, but otherwise, it's up to you. The usual ATC guidelines apply, just a little differently. They should still be 2.5x3.5, counting the extension piece. And made well, please. No sticker slapping! A rating of 4.5 is required, but newbies are welcome. This is going to be fun, so let yourself go and enjoy! |
