S: Recycled Calendar Envies

It's that time of year again! The 2014 calendars are making their way to store shelves and I'm getting anxious to create something lovely with my 2013 edition!

Early this year @JBromeling sent me a beautiful book made from recycled calendar envelopes. I've thoroughly enjoyed using it and loved participating in that swap. But the books were really hard to make! I'm going for something much simpler this year. :-)

• You will have two partners.

• Send each partner three envelopes made from recycled calendars.

• The envies must be sturdy enough to use for mailing. Flimsy calendar pages can be reinforced with a heavier lining.

• The finished envies must be rectangular, at least 3 1/2" X 5" and no larger than 6 1/8" X 11 1/2". (Standard USPS measurements)

• You must embellish each envelope in some way because that makes them more fun and special for the receiver and gives you an opportunity to be a bit creative with this project. :-) The embellishments can be simple. (Remember, these envies are for mailing.) Judicious sticker use is allowed.

• Please remember to include the swap title and your username with your swap.

ETA: It is not a requirement that your calendar pages be from 2013 or even that they be from the same calendar. Feel free to use whatever you have or can find. Thanks for asking about that, Terry!
