Hello, everyone! This is a type 3 swap, which means that it has a crafting element to it. I found that these were really difficult to join as a newbie because they were quite intimidating. But, fear not! For this swap, you will make 3 envelopes and send them all to your partner. That's three envelopes sent to your one partner. Please try to make these envelopes decently-sized, as in at least note-card sized. Smaller envelopes are cute, but they aren't very practical for sending things in. While everyone has their own method of envelope-making, I've found that the easiest way to start out is to find an envelope pattern you like, carefully unfold it, trace it on another sheet of paper, cut it out and then glue all of the edges together. There are also a lot of tutorials and patterns online. They need not be of cardboard stock, but try not to use flimsy papers, like magazine clippings are those tend to rip really easily while in transit. (For any other tips or websites, please PM me and I'd be more than happy to give you some of my favorite websites and patterns.) Your envelopes don't need to be all different, but remember that this swap is about trying new things and branching out, so why not give it a try? If you are unable to make the send date, please contact your partner. It's basic swapbot manners to explain to them the situation. If you have any questions or concerns about the swap, I ask that you please contact me. I'd love to help out in any way that I can. After you receive your swap, please rate your partner a 5 if they have sent you 3 envelopes that are at least note-card sized and of a decent material. Lastly, and most importantly, HAVE FUN~ |
