ROUND 4 IMPORTANT These swaps have a password and only those who participated in round one, may continue on through the rounds. This is to help ensure that journals do not get lost in cyber space. Each round, we will do a double page spread. So, for Round 4 we are using our two pages to share our favourite Winter recipe/s. At least one recipe, more if you like, that always make it onto your table in the colder months. At least one illustration of your recipe. Not necessarily hand drawn, but a little more than a dollar shop sticker. Put the time and effort into what you send, that you hope is what you will find when your own journal comes home to roost. When working in other people's journals, please check their profiles for likes and dislikes. EG As a Christian, I probably wouldn't like a witches coven in my journal. Fairies in the garden are always welcome if they wipe their feet before stepping on the flowers! Any decoration of the pages you fill in are optional, but when working in other people's journals, please avoid thick bling and do your best to steer clear of items on their dislikes list. Ultimately though. it is sender's choice and supposed to be fun, not an epic undertaking. Get the idea? Good! If you receive a journal, you MUST rate a 5, even if you can't bear the thought of chewing away at Great Aunt Agatha's famous haggis! Of course, it is entirely possible that when partners are assigned an owner might receive their own book back for that round. Lucky if you do, because then you get a sneak peek at what your finished journal might look like. IMPORTANT REMINDER This is a series of 10 swaps. After round 5 we will post the journals to their owners. So, that's like round 5 and a half. More information when I do up round 5 - stay tuned. The final round will not be rateable, as we will be returning the journals to their owners, just as we did after round five. So, in place of ratings, a comment on the sender's page will be the 'receipt'. Now, the usual stuff... No unexplained 1's or 3's. Please only join if you are committed to sending the journals on. It will be fun to see what we get back. Please ensure you send by the last date to send - earlier is preferable. Swaps are for enjoyment not for drama, so let's leave that for the television soapies. |
