Hi, This is for those who have a printer, some card stock and love recipe postcards. I love to cook and have made most of the recipes I have received on postcards. Truthfully, I have not made any Haggis, nor some of the Russian dishes. The ingredients are not always easy to find. You will make and print 3 recipe postcards to send to three partners. The size should be approximately 4 x 6 or 1/4 of the card stock. Most card stock can be cut into four postcards, send 3 so you have one for yourself. Be sure the card stock will be able to pass through the postal machines. I use 110 weight. Graphics should include a photo of your dish. Thousands of free of royalty photos can be found online. Some of the card making programs also have photos of foods. Or take a photo of your dish and put it on the postcard. The postcard at the top is one I sent for National Postcard Week in May, 2013. If you would like one, please email me at ezrestexas@aol.com A list of ingredients and the directions should fit on the front of the postcard but use the back in you need more space. All recipes should be in English. The back of the postcard should include your name and the name of the swap. And any additional infomation you think necessary or why you make this particular recipe. It should also include a dividing line so one half of it can be addressed. Let's have fun cooking and printing. |
