International Swap For Unfinished Quilting and Sewing projects Examples: a project you bought the fabric and pattern for, but never started. A wall hanging that is mostly together, but not quite, and you haven’t touched it in a few years. It’s those Christmas stockings you cut out but never made. It’s the set of fat quarters you bought but never did anything with. It’s a baby quilt top you created but don’t have the motivation to quilt...get the idea? This is a great way to clean out the craft room for 2007! The unfinished project you send must be a project that anyone can finish and enjoy (i.e. clothing is usually one size, so a clothing project would not apply, but a tote bag or a wallhanging would). No project size limits. An entire quilt is permissible, as is a small sewing project. Projects must be given with no strings attached...and no one has to finish the project, though it would be neat to post pictures so the previous owners can see their finished projects. The project should have a worth of at least $10.00 (in fabric, pattern and/or supplies). This swap is open to anyone worldwide—so keep in mind that you may end up shipping internationally. |
