Unused Christmas Card swap

This is just what I have been waiting for! I love to buy new cards each year. I get sick of the left-overs and don't want to send out the same card two years in a row!

Just when will we know who are swap persons are and their addresses. I am a newby.

You will find out your swap partners when the swap closes, Jan 29th.

After you log in and come to this page, in the yellow box at the top of the page, a new option will appear to see your partners address.

I piled up a few bought cards but they already contain a message in it (not done by me but i bought them like this).

is it ok?

oh yes. should they all 3 be different?

Anouk, if you mean a message printed in like "merry christmas, happy new year", that's fine. We don't want used ones that say "To Mary, love John" already :) It would be nice if they were different, but that's up to you. Just use what you have.

I was a little bit concerned because I have only 2 different sets of cards. But now all is cleared up, I will send 3 cards for each partner. unfortunately 2 out of 3 will be the same... >_<

I sent mine out this morning to Courtney in PA, Nhat in Canada and Nina in Ireland. Hope they arrive safely and you enjoy them. All were "New Englandy" in flavor so I'm glad I got some far away folks to send to.

Can someone please tell me how to rate the people I receive from, I can;t find where to do it, FAQ's say to click on the link at the bottom of this page but I can't see a link.

About a week after the date items must be sent by, a link to rate your swap partners will show up in the "As a member of this swap you can" section. When you click on it a small window will open and allow you to rate your swap partners.

I'm sorry I forgot to mark these as mailed. They should arrive early next week.

I have received all my cards now, from Lynn, heartsnyou & tellu. Thank you they are all beautiful. I have just checked my swap book and it seems I have mixed up my sending dates, I had marked this swap as posting by the 15th, and posted my cards out on the 12th, my apologies to my partners, hopefully you will receive these in the next few days.

Courtney, Sara and Leeloo35....I Mailed those at my local post office here on the 7th of month. I take all my parcels and envelopes inside and have them put postage on them at the counter. I can't imagine what could have happened. They are closed Monday. I will contact them Tuesday (live in a very small town, only 1500 folks, so small office where they know you by name) and have them see if they can find out what happened. In the meantime I will also get ready more to resend if this is okay with all of you. Very, very sorry. Tamme

Leeloo35 It was only right to resend. Happy to do it. I usually don't have problems with my mail. But every now and then...I guess it's the volume of incoming and outgoing some of it slips through the cracks. I think, too, it has to do with who is working at the time.
