Onwards & Upwards! Round #2 was too much fun. =)

This is for those who love childrens books. I pick them up from my local charity shops for less than £1 a piece and they have some of the most gorgeous illustrations and interesting text for word art.

This swap has 2 partners. You'll be making an envelope for your partner that is children's book theme. The envelope itself can be made from a page from a children's book or it can be a plain envelope decorated with ephemera, collage, stickers, children's book motifs, etc. if you are just decorating an envelope please make sure it is completely covered. If you are making an envelope from a book page, please add some more detail on it like quotes, collage, illustration, stamps, stickers, etc.

NO sticker slapping or shoddy efforts, please put time into this and make some pretty mail art. Please no images printed from a computer, no photocopies. Please stick only to the children's book theme. Please see my partners profile before using disney.

Inside your envelope include 5 flat pieces of childrens book ephemera for your partner, e.g a book page, jigsaw pieces, flash cards/spelling cards/playing cards, cuts out, die cuts from pages, postcard, bookmark, etc. Book pages are fine if you don't have anything else; perhaps cut interesting shapes/characters/words out from different pages for a variety.
