I hosted a swap a few years ago called Collaged Paper Hearts. People seemed to enjoy it and so I started thinking that it might be fun to do it again, only this time, with using different washi tapes rather than different papers. Thus, you will start with a piece of paper (any color/weight will do) and randomly stick down different washi tapes to it, overlapping the edges as you go. The idea here is not to worry about planning รขโฌโ just have fun with random tapes. They can go every which way. After you have completed this step, turn your paper over so you can't see the covered side. [No peeking!]. Draw a heart or several hearts on it and cut it/them out. Turn it/them over and see how pretty it/they look with the collaged tapes you chose. It's kind of like a surprise รขโฌโ you never know what you're going to get. Now, take one of the hearts (or several) and use them to either make a card for your partner, or glue them onto a sheet of paper for a letter. Finally, on your card or your letter, write a nice note to your partner. This is a very easy swap and I hope lots will come out & play! | |
