Handmade, Locally Made, Fair Trade Winter Package

I am hosting this swap again this year by popular request!

Here is an opportunity to swap a nice and fun winter/holidays package while at the same time supporting crafters, local businesses and fair trade organizations!

I know this swap is not for everyone but I much prefer a nice sustainably made item to a bunch of mass-produced items cheaply made under poor working conditions. Do you also feel that way? And with craft fairs and local businesses featuring seasonal items, this a great time to shop for them. Or, you may be busy making some holiday items of your own.

We will be sending our partner a box with winter/seasonal/nice to use everyday items. Some ideas based on your partner's profile are: fair trade tea, coffee or hot chocolate, a handmade craft, a regional snack or candy, a handmade candle, handmade soap, handmade or fair trade holiday ornament, piece of handmade accessory clothing, handmade cards, handmade and fair trade jewelry, CD from a local music group, locally published book, crafted bath products, etc.

The package should average about $17 worth of items before shipping. International.

Items can be made by you, made in your area or made by fair trade artisans. Etsy crafts are okay. Like new thrifted items are also okay. Please no mass produced/mass distributed discount store, department store or dollar store items for this swap.

Have fun brightening your partner's winter/holidays and hopefully brightening the season for some artisans, crafters and small business owners!
