Description:

How cool would it be to get a colorful plastic egg filled with surprises in your mailbox! Totally cool, right!

Yes, you can mail plastic Easter eggs. I had a friend who mailed plastic Easter eggs last year and thought it would be SO fun to do this year.

You will need:

Jumbo plastic Easter egg (the little ones are too small to address and stamp)

At least 3 different Easter/Spring themed surprises to fill the egg. You can send more if you wish. Examples:

Easter candy. Stickers. Hair ties. Mini stamps. Small craft items. Mini erasers. ~the list goes on and on. Get creative!

You may use Easter grass for packing, but not required.

DO NOT send plastic egg in a box or envelope. The egg should be sent "naked". Please do not send a REAL EGG.

So, Jumbo plastic egg> fill with at least 3 different Easter/Spring themed surprises.add a small note with swap name and name of swap>tape the egg at the seam> use a sharpie or small label to address the egg> Add correct postage. The cost should be around $1.50-$2. Mail to you partner!

Sender's choice but please check allergies. Please rate fairly. If you receive a (naked) plastic egg with a surprise and small note, please rate a 5.

Newbie friendly with a filled out profile and at least a 4.98 or above rating. No unexplained 1's or 3's.

I will angel this swap after you have attempted to contact your partner and a 1 has been rated.

This is meant to be a FUN swap.

Any questions, let me know.

Happy Egging!

The one I was able to find is about 8 inches by 4 inches or so. Is that okay? ^^

Holy Moly! That's a big egg. You're more than welcome to use it but something like this will be fine. (see pic)

It's the next size up from the regular plastic eggs. The regular egg is just to small to add address and stamps.

Hmm.. I'll see if I can find one a bit smaller!!

I'm sorry if this caused any inconvenience.

It's totally fine! I'm sure my partner will love it (: So long as I can still find the egg I was going to buy. lol

Swappers: go to Walgreens if your town has the chain. That's where I just found mine. Thought it was 99¢, but it rang up for 49¢ on sale.

That's awesome! Thank you for sharing, Artistic!

The mail clerk was amused (she's a newbie at the main post office) and asked the clerk next to her: can this be mailed? "Absolutely," said the experienced clerk.

And with that, she rang up the postage and applied it to the egg, which is now winging its way to my partner to be hatched for Easter ... or earlier if you can't wait! :) Enjoy!
