Depression sucks! Swaps are coordinated by myself, I personally have experience with depression from a very young age. Along with Anxiety, CPTSD and Aspergers.

Topic for your ATC:

Depression affects us all differently. It changes depending on what life is throwing at you. For this ATC I ask that you share a glimpse at what causes your depression. It can be environmental factors, it could be abstract in the sense it is the chemicals in your brain.

ATC Specifications:

  • ABSOLUTELY NO STICKER SLAPPING. If someone sends you one like this please contact me as they will be banned from all future swaps by myself.
  • Size: 2.5 x 3.5inch card stock. A tip, check the wedding supplies for 300gsm cheap cardstock ;)
  • Mediums: No limits, go wild!

Swap requirements:

  • Must have only 5's. However if you have low scores from over a year ago please contact me!
  • Must have at least 5 completed and rated swaps.
  • Please anyone with a 1/3 rating contact me otherwise you will be banned.

You accidentally chose the wrong type of swap. It should be a type 3. :)

I'll go ahead and leave a comment assuring you that I am well past 18 years old. I'm putting this on my watchlist for now. I'll have to think on how I can convey a chemical imbalance in a drawing before I commit to joining.

I'm not joining as I suck at art (ATCs included), but I would like to point out a flaw: Wouldn't an underage swapper just lie and say that they are 18 or older? (I've always wondered why some websites ask for age verification for the same reason.)

@kiddo47 Ah thank you, I didn't notice that derp! An the age thing was a mix up, that was just meant for my horror swap! Derpa derpa! I would like to see what ideas you come up with :) I am hoping that in the future to add a specific tag so that those on flickr can have the images show up in an album on my site :)

@RatsAndrags Oh bloody hell I just realised I pasted in the same swap requirements as my Horror ATC lol This one is open to ALL ages!! Fair question, there are two reasons for this. First is that if I get an email from a parent saying that they received a graphic ATC, I can screenshot the comment and clearly show that their child stated they are over 18, which means I am off the hook. The burden of proving that is on them not me. The other reason is that it shows someone read all the way to the bottom of the requirements lol!

@Thraxan You shouldn't even have to put the age disclosure in your swap description since this is an 18+ site. I can, however, see how you'd want to CYA considering how many underagers and mother/daugther duos are popping up here on the site lately. It's getting a little ridiculous if you ask me. I didn't come here t swap with children. SMH.

@kiddo47 Aye I believe that is what I saw recently. A swap for kids by the mothers. I mean I get that they want to do things like that but maybe if there was an option to select child friendly swap so you do not send out top notch work and get a few squiggles back -.- I actually didn't realise it was an 18+ site, for some reason that never occurred to me derp XD I modified both swaps now and removed that clause. The Horror ATC swap should be fun, I just didn't want parents complaining that they received something horrific in the mail lol
