For this swap take one window envelope - recycled or new - and give it an artful makeover with paint, collage, ink, mixed media, etc. LEAVE THE WINDOW INTACT - do not cover over the window - make it part of the new design. Insert/attach something inside that will show through the window. You could make it look like a fish tank or a window looking out onto a fantasy landscape or do something more abstract or simple. It's up to you.

This swap is all about the envelope art itself so we will be sending these empty - no enclosures necessary, besides what you choose for inside the window decoration and a folded piece of card stock or recycled card to give the envelope some backbone.

In summary:

• One window envelope, any mailable size, any size/shape/number of windows.
• Covered & altered, front and back. Very little of the original plain white envelope should be showing when you're done.
• Window still visible and creatively incorporated into new design.
• SENT EMPTY, stamped and addressed, with nothing inside but a piece of folded card stock or recycled cardboard for strength and the window decor.
• Swap name noted somewhere on the back of the envelope.
