Challenge 4x4 Swap

I have been asked to start another 4x4 swap so here goes!

There was a 4x4 swap not too long ago, and now I'd like to start another, so we can use the 4x4 that we make to eventually make a chunky Book. I am involved in a swap just like this on one of my groups. But I am changing it just a bit.

The challenge is this. Using ONLY pages from magazine, you will will make a background. Look for interesting patterns and colors and collage them to create your background. Then find ONE object (think out of the box, ie: a chair, a door, a hand, anything unusual) and make it the focal point of your page. After you do that, you may add other embellishments such as stickers, buttons, found obects, what ever you can think of. Remember that you need to keep in mind that the one object (a larger picture from a magazine) is the focal point of your page, and you don't want to detract from that with your embellishments. You can make a title for your page, but it must be made from words cut from magazines. Leave at least a half inch on the left side of your pages without embellshments, but you can collage that part if you care to. This will make room for binding the book. You will decorate only one side of the page, and put your name and location on the back.

You will have 3 partners, and will make two pages for each, for a total of 6 pages.

Please sign up only if you are serious about this swap. I am understanding about low scores if there is a good reason, like things being lost in the mail, but if you have a score less than 4.5, you cannot participate in this swap. This is just for the protection of the other participants, who do make their pages and send them out, but get nothing in return. I am giing at least a month to get these pages done. I believe you can get them done in that period of time.

This will be an INTERNATIONAL swap, so be willing to wait a bit longer for your pages if you get a partner from over seas.

This should be an interesting project. I think these pages will make interesting addition to a chunky book!
