Description: | |
This swap is for a handmade Halloween themed junk journal book Content Sender's Choice The book needs to be a minimum of 5x7 (can be larger) You may use an old book with the pages removed, leaving the spine and the front and back covers, or you can use chipboard with punched holes using rings or ribbon. Either way, the book needs to be covered and decorated with paper or fabric or painted in the halloween theme. For this book you may also use sewn in signatures instead of punched holes and rings. For punched holes you will use 25 pages (50 sides) and for sewn in signatures you will use 15 pages (60 sides). Remember this is a journal, so the pages need to be *lightly decorated and embellished, leaving plenty of room for your partner to write in. Plus make pockets, tuck spots, ect for your partner to put things in. using envelopes is a good way to make tuck spots too.. Your book should include tags, ribbon, washi tape, buttons, charms, doilies, note papers, stickers (only nice ones), ephemera, words, quotes, sayings, and anything else you want to put in that matches the theme. You can get lots of inspiration from Pinterest, or even googling them. there are some beautiful books out there! I know these books are a bit labor intensive, so I have left 2 weeks for sign up and then 4 weeks to send date. and This swap is senders choice so you can get started right away! For this swap I am requiring a 4.98 rating and will not accept any recent 1's or 3's within the last 6 months. Also for this swap I am setting a limit of at least 30 type 3 rated swaps. I will be vetting this swap very closely because everyone deserves to receive a book! Please contact me with any questions about this swap. |
