Which Herb Do You Recommend?

This is a flat mail swap meant to share herbal information with one partner. Please put everything you send on a 5 x 7 piece of cardstock so your partner can add it to her Book of Shadows (& Lights).

Ideas for the focus of this herb include its medicinal properties that might heal a cough, help sleep or work with any aspect of healing; or it can be the magickal aspects to call in protection; or herbs to use in ritual that work with the Elements; or it might have culinary strengths.

You might include a photo for identification, the scientific information, growing tips, how to harvest, how to use in teas, tinctures, oils, etc.

It is Sender's Choice, so you can start working on the page when you sign up. No extras are required so we can keep this to flat mail. If you decide to do more, realize your partner may keep to the Flat Mail suggestion and that if you send extras, you must check your partner's profile to avoid items on her Do-Not-Send list.

As an example, the photo for this swap is of Angelica, which has Magickal attributes of Protection against negative energy. It can be used in healing incenses; be scattered for purification, protection, and uncrossing. Sprinkle the ground herb in shoes to prevent tiredness. It represents the Element of Fire, so often, it can be used on the altar as symbolic of Fire when you want something more than just a candle. It grows 3-9 ft tall and has quite an interesting history of uses.
