Description:

It doesn't seem possible that four years ago I only had one roll of washi tape and it sat unused for over a year! Now I have... well, I would rather not say exactly how many but it is in the hundreds of rolls, and I use it almost every day on one thing or another.

This swap has one partner, and three parts.

Part One: Write a note to your partner telling how you use washi tape. Are you a "one trick pony" or have you discovered a hundred uses for this versatile supply? (If you have some pinterest links for favorite projects, please share those in the comments below.) Not everyone uses washi in their planners, but many do. If you'd like to include a photocopy of your favorite page, you could do that. The idea is to gather new ways to use your tape--either rolls or samples.

Part Two:
Create something to send your partner using washi tape. It could be an ATC, a note card, decorated envelope, tag, or other creative object. In the past I have used washi tape to add the color and texture to animal shapes. I've done birds, fish and houses all made with washi tape! You don't have to be too wild with this, just send your partner something you would enjoy using yourself or feel good about sending (like a note card) to someone else.

Part Three: Use a plastic coated playing card or a tag covered with clear packing tape to send your partner 4 samples, 18" or longer of some of your favorite tapes. For me, they are mostly ALL favorites, so I'll probably check my partner's profile to see what they might like. However, it is up to you to decide which ones to send.

So, you are going to (1) write some ideas for ways to use washi tape, (2) create a "gift" (art, ATC, notecard, etc.) for your partner using washi tape, and (3) include four samples of some of your personal favorites. The icing on the cake would be to add a bit of colorful tape to the outside of your mailing envelope too, but it is not a requirement!

Send on time, rate promptly. I'll angel if necessary after appropriate ratings have been given.

(In case this looks familiar, I am hosting this same swap in another group)
