Mini Magpie #3

You are required to use tracking and to post the tracking in the comments when you mail.

For this swap you will make one mini magpie/ junk journal from a pocket/purse calendar. You make it and your partner keeps it to finish it. You are starting the background pages basically.

You need a pocket /purse calendar: these are small monthly calendars with one or 2 years inside. Go with one year if you can find it. They also might have 16 months vs. 12 months, They are the size of a checkbook, flat, cheap, often free from charities.

What you need to do as the sender. You need to cover each calendar page with background stuff. book pages, scrap paper, or scrapbooking paper, receipts, you name it. cover the pages. Paint also works, but might get very wet, since this is not paper intended for art. But I don't want to limit your imagination.

You can add ribbons, fibers, titles, prompts, tabs, add tip ins, or whatever you want to the pages. But don't finish the pages. Just get it started for your partner.

Feel free to decorate the cover or not.

Your finished magpie mini journal should NOT fit easily into a business sized envelope. Go back and add more stuff. Please use a padded envelope or a craft envelope. Use tracking to prevent issues of lost mail.

You may get started now, it is senders choice. I wont cancel the swap, as long a there is one player. So don't worry that you start a journal and the swaps will get cancelled.
