YTPC: Art Journal Page #1

I thought we could make an art journal and add pages from different artists.

Each art journal page will measure 5" x 7" and we'll follow a different tutorial for each page. We'll just keep it going as long as people sign up ;+)

You won't bind or punch your page in any way; the receiver will add it to her journal in whatever way she chooses.

Please cover the back of your page with some plain paper suitable for journaling (notebook paper, plain paper, light scrapbook paper) so your partner can you the pages for actual journaling.

As always, don't run out and buy everything the tutor uses (unless you want to add to your stash). Use what you have to create something in the style of this page. It seems wise for this tutorial to choose the scrapbook paper you wish to use and then create the base in coordinating colors.
