Description: | |
This is the first of a series of the "old tags" Tim Holtz used to do every year for a long time. We'll jump around from year to year for our tag inspirations. This one is from his last year of tags, 2016. Remember that the instructions he provides provide a foundation for a tag; you aren't expected to follow each one precisely. Adapt it to work with supplies you have. Time is clearly his theme here, and if you don't have these exact dies or stamps. use something else such as a pocket watch, a wrist watch, collection of tiny clocks, etc.The tag instructions are HERE This tag has 2 options: industrial metal OR chalkboard technique, so you are free to choose. Follow the instructions as best you can with supplies you have---remember that his tags are always inspiration for you to put to use as you wish--just be certain that your tag is identifiable as one of these two options. To receive a 5 rating you must: 1) make a #8 size tag following the techniques in the link or taking your inspiration from them 2) Use at least 4 genuine Tim Holtz products in making your tag 3) Cover the back of tag with coordinating paper from your scrap stash and include the swap info on back of tag: Swap Group, Swap Name, Date, Your Swap-Bot Name. 4) Send on time or contact your partner in advance. 5) Include a brief note to your partner introducing yourself, explaining your use of the 4 TH products/techniques, etc. This swap is sender's choice, but sometimes you get helpful information from your partner's profile. |
