How stinking cute are these? Just found them on a blog and thought they'd make a sweet Washi tape holder to send some samples on. The blogger didn't mention what type of paper to use but, of course, it would have to have a shiny, nonstick surface to put the Washi on. It might be best to use regular cardstock to make the initial holder, so that you can use whatever colour you want to make the animal head (pink for a pig, brown for a bear, etc), then cut shiny paper to cover the body part - glue a piece on both sides for the Washi tape to be put on. I'm going to try photo paper. Make the holder long enough that you can put 4 or more samples on it, and make it 2 inches wide. Wrap your samples around both sides at least 3 times, making them 12 or more inches long. Go here to see the blog. |
