Are we using 2 forever stamps or 2 that add up to correct or slightly higher postage

Any 2 stamps or more that add up to the .35 cents it costs to mail. I buy a lot of older stamps on ebay so have lots of .10 cents , 4 cents and so on. Regards Glennys
