You'll have one partner, and make for them 2 or 3 fridgies in a Winter theme. Fridgies are crocheted (or knitted) fridge magnets. But this time, I'm opening this up to all crafters who like to make magnets! You can crochet, knit, punch it out of thin tin sheet, carve a piece of wood, or maybe back a glass lens, or paint a little flat rock. I think most of us may stick to the crocheted Fridgie, but I want to give everyone a chance to play. Make something that will last. If you are a paper crafter, that is fine, but you must coat your paper/cardstock magnet with something like UTEE or glossy accent. Put a magnet on the back! If you need an Winter Theme idea, here are some: Snowflakes, snowmen, penguin, moose, deer, skis, cardinals, tiny mittens or hats. Whatever says Winter to you! No need to overthink! Personally, I will probably make some snowflakes, because I love making lacy snowflakes. I suggest you buy a roll of sticky-back magnetic tape if you like making these. A roll will last you for a lot of magnets! Next month we'll do Valentine Fridgies! I will angel if necessary, but that really doesn't happen much in this group. |
