1-2-3 Fun Swap

👋🏼 Hello everyone,

I thought this is simple yet fun swap. I hope you can join. Following the guidelines below, the idea of this swap is to make:

ONE flipbook The flipbook will be AT LEAST 4x6 inches or 10x15cm in size. It should be made with a patterned paper. A thicker paper is great as to make it sturdy. Plain paper is fine as long as you decorate it with collages, stickers, die cuts, used stamps, or cut images. You could also use a folding card. Inside, you’ll add pockets to hold the goodies.

TWO embellishments Choose at least 2 embellishments to put on the cover / inside of the flipbook: a wax seal, a ribbon, a lace, a wooden embellishment, a mini brass embellishment, buttons, brads. Think about some 3 dimensional items to attach to the flipbook itself. This is to give an extra texture.

THREE goodies This is a sender’s choice swap. However, try to put together things that your partner likes, with the supplies you have. They could be but not limited to: stickers, journaling cards, a set of washi tapes (min 30 cm long), ephemera, stubs, vintage papers, crafy / patterned papers, laces, ribbons, stamps, postcards, wax seals, a tea, etc. Include at least 3 of these.

This is just an IDEA: I would probably make a folding card with an already printed image. I’d stick some paper collages on the top left corner, stamp on it and a big sticker on the bottom right corner. I’d print my partner’s name on a vellum paper on the middle of the flipbook. Then I’d wrap it with a ribbon & attach a mini pin on it. Inside, there’d be goodies I try to match with my partner’s likings. Most times I included some extra as well.

Let your creative minds play. When I say “craft paperS”, it doesn’t mean literally just 2 pieces of paper. You can be as generous as you want but are welcome to make your mail flat as to minimise the postage. It doesn’t have to be too much of everything. It’s the effort & love you put into it that your partner can see. Isn’t it a nice feeling when you open a flipbook and it makes you smile?! So be the person who brings the joy in the mail. 😊💕
