Description:

I must apologize for not getting this swap uP quicker this month.... but we have our FIRST grand daughter.... and there was a bit of a vacation to the Gulf in there..... so here goes:

In this swap, you will send one Pass and Paste postcard to one partner. You can join in at any time by starting a Pass and Paste Postcard, or by sending on one that you have received from an earlier round, or another source. If using one from another source, please remember our standards.....sturdy base, no stickers, etc.

To start a Pass and Paste PC, divide the PC in to 3 or 4 equal sections. You can send any shape or size, use wavy lines or straight lines to divide the sections, etc. It's up to you. Please use a sturdy material for the base. You then label each section 1-3 or 4, etc., or A-D, and pick a section for you to create in. Create your mailart in one section. You can paint, collage, make a drawing, use fabric, do whatever you want to make your original creative mail art. Please Do Not use stickers.

Next turn the PC over, and address the postcard to yourself. Also, divide the left side, in to seperate writing areas and label them the same as you did on the front 1-4, etc. This is where you, the artist, can leave a note, a quote, a drawing, your artist info, and which Pass and Paste you are doing (for example #3) etc. If you completed section B on the front side...then you will write in section B on the backside.

Once you have completed your section, you mail the postcard, in a decorated envelope, to your partner, by the send by date. In the next round, you will use the postcard you have received. You will create in one of the sections and then send that PC forward. If you like to work ahead, feel free to create on these as soon as you get them. Once you receive a postcard, and you are the last person to create on it (you fill the last space on the PC), then please mail it back, naked or in a clear protective sleeve, to the original starter (name and mailing info should be on the card already).

You can jump in and start at any point, irregardless of what round it is, simply by starting a Pass and Paste postcard. If you receive an unfinished Pass and Paste PC, please always send it on, even if you decide not to participate any longer. At the very least, send it back to the original starter, @Wolfeagle or send it to me and I will forward it on. That way everyone should eventually get their postcard back.

You can create in any medium that you like but please make sure you adhere any items securely..as these may eventually be mailed naked.

If you are assigned the originator as a partner, do not send them their uncompleted postcard, simply start a new PC. If you will be sitting out more than a couple of rounds, and have unfinished PCs, please send them to me so that they will remain in circulation. If you get assigned a partner and they have already worked on that PC, then hold it and send it in the next round to a different partner or please send it to me. The goal is to have each space filled out by a different artist, and then sent Naked home to the originator. If particularly fragile, lumpy, or things not adhered well, or wet weather forecasted, go ahead and send in a sleeve or envelope, though Naked is preferred. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. We would love to see the finished PC's in our forum.

Have fun.
