I thought it would be a good idea to start a swap that centers around our jobs on the Isle of Swaps.

In this swap you will send a letter to your partner explaining your job role and what your duties involve.

Be as creative as you wish and include as many details as poss. We like details :)

Handwritten or typed, it matters not!

I've had a few requests to be able to make all the letters available to all members. I think that this is a really good idea but we need to work the creases out. I've had a suggestion that the copies could be made and a spiral booklet made and mailed to each member.

I was thinking that we could scan the letter and I could make an electronic booklet that can be emailed to citizens as a 'intro to swapperland' thing. Those without scanners could photocopy and mail them in.

I don't know really. What do you guys think?

I think that's a great idea. What fun that would be to read everyones story.Sorta like a Isle Of Swap Zine...That would be fun and then we would get to read each others ideas.I am all for it.

I was also thinking it would be a great idea to post your swap to all the IOS threads. The more posts the more it gets pushed into the other pages ect...

Ahhh another long swap date, which is good, gives me time to ponder, also gives us all time to work out exactly what we are doing on the IoS :) I can almost see the place in my mind

I'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to drop. I've got quite a bit going on at the moment and I don't want to end up struggling to keep up with my swaps. This is the first time I've ever dropped from a swap and it wasn't an easy decision. I hope you can understand and good luck with the swap. I'll keep an eye on the forums though :)

Lauren,

My letter went out to you today. You should get it in a week or so.

Hugs!
