Time to move those Postage Stamp Bags> I'd like to do these monthly and plan to do a USA and an International version for each. This is the USA version. Postage Stamp Bags contain fun, colorful stamps (try not to using boring, every day stamps that everyone already has if they want them). You can make your own or move on others you already have. We will send at least 2 bags to 2 partners (4 bags total minimum). You can send more bags but limit homers to only one per person UNLESS your swap partner comments below that they are OK to accept more than 1 homer. Send at least TWO bags but not more than SIX bags total unless your partner is OK with accepting more (I am!). To make your own, you'll need to start a bag with a selection of stamps (I start with 10). Create instructions such as "Take 2 and Add 5" so that the bag gradually gets a few more stamps each time. Note who the bag is for, who it's by, a place for signatures, how many stamps you started with. Sign, Date and Pass on to the next person. I usually have 5 signers and then the 5th signer sends home to the bag's owner. If you're participating in this swap, then it's not an option to write PASS on the postage stamp bag. If you can't find stamps you like to take out then just add what you need to add, write your name on the swap, and move onto another Postage Bag swapper. Most people don't do this but I have seen it and think it's unfair to sign up for a swap and then pass, therefore delaying the bag getting moved on. I do think passing is OK if you receive private swaps that aren't your cup of tea, but not for swaps you sign up for. If you already have Postage Stamp bags that are in process, you can move those along by following the instructions on the bag. Please message me if you have questions. I've hosted a few swaps but still am fairly new to hosting so may forget something obvious to include. |
