You've been reassigned.

Effective immediately, we are now under the jurisdiction of the Dream Surveillance Division, a sub-sector of the Dream Intelligence Agency (the DIA). Our mission is to observe, report, and gently interfere in anomalies arising within the Dream Realms. No rescue missions. No reality breaches. Just you, your subconscious toolkit, and a stack of questionably secure dream forms.

Your first assignment?

Create a Dream Anomaly Case File for an unexplainable occurrence that’s begun to ripple through dreamspace. Perhaps you noticed a flock of clocks swimming through a field of teeth? A song that plays in everyone's dreams—but only the chorus? A room that won't stop appearing, even in unrelated dreams? You decide. That’s why we hired you.

This isn’t just a report—it’s a field file, something your fellow agent will receive and analyze in their own dream response. So make it weird. Make it whimsical. Make it beautifully unhinged. After all, dreaming is an art.

As an activated agent of the Dream Surveillance Division, please prepare and send your partner:

✅ One dream anomaly case file:

This can be a mind map, dream incident report, visual sketch, narrative document, collage, dream chart, or bizarre flowchart. Any of those should be a minimum of 8.5 x 11 piece of paper.

✅ If you would like to go a little more traditional in the items you create you could interpret your vision through ATC’s a minimum of 3, ink box cards a minimum of 3 or a single pocket letter (which is just 9 ATC’s that thematically work together). Please no post cards for this swap.

You're reporting on something strange that’s been spotted across multiple dreams. You make the anomaly up—it should feel dreamlike, symbolic, surreal, and a little funny or offbeat. This is not a nightmare swap, but could be dark, but not scary.

✅ 1-2 pieces of attached “dream evidence”, include small, tangible or visual items to accompany your file. These might include:

• A tiny dreamcatcher

• A snippet from a fictional dream journal

• A mysterious photo with cryptic agent notes

• A charm, found object, or ephemera with unusual significance

• An unusual patch, sigil, sticker, or clipping from the Dream Archives
