I hosted this a few years ago, and thought I'd bring it back. I'm setting this up as International, but if anyone would like a US only version, please send me a PM and let me know! and I'm happy to do that. International, 1 partner, Type 3 for time factor, but flat mail/ cost of one (postcard I believe) stamp to mail. Check out this site: Send a Postcard/letter hybrid These instructions seem to be at least 2 years old, and seem to be from the USA. For that reason, I can't promise the finished product will be mailable with just a single postcard stamp - but, it should work for a first class stamp, like a postalette/fold and mail letter does. For this swap, check out the website above and follow the instructions to create a Franken-letter (you'll understand that once you read the instructions). Images & colors are sender's choice but it's it nice to check your partner's profile? :) Write a letter to your partner (any topic, your choice), fold it up and mail it to your partner. Remember to include the swap title and your SB ID in the letter! Check the postage for this Franken-letter - if you take it into the post office and they will ok it for just one postcard stamp, go for it! Otherwise, you might want to go with a first class stamp. Postcards are usually about 4x6 inches in size - if you go larger, it might cost more. If you go smaller, it might get lost in the mail. As you create your Franken-letter, keep that in mind. This link includes this information for postcards in the USA Questions? Comments? Concerns? Please send me a PM I will reply as soon as I can. If this is fun and you'd like to do it again, please let me know! We can also do a USA only version, if you'd like. |
