R&W: Thinking of you week

September 21-27 is Thinking of You Week This is going to be a bit of a different swap, so please read directions carefully and ask if you have any questions.

You will have 1 partner but you will be sending that 1 person 7 days of cards. You can either send these cards individually, or send all 7 in one larger envelope for your partner to read over a week.

This week is all about letting someone know you are thinking about them. Check out the clicky link above if you want to do this on your own, too, or for more information.

For this swap, once partners are assigned, prepare 7 mailing items - note cards or postcards - to one partner, before the mail by deadline. What does this look like? Hopefully your partner will get mail from you each day (or, if you send all of them in the same package, they will be able to open or read one note a day.) We all know the mail isn't perfect, but we can hope!!

When partners are assigned, take a look at your partner's profile, see what kinds of things they like and prepare happy notes for them. Write each note separately, with the swap name, your user ID and numbers 1-7 to let them know which order to read the notes. Your partner can then read one note each day over the week (or all at once!) There are 7 parts to this swap, but there will only be 1 rating, which is why I set this as a type 3 swap.

So, what would this look like? For the partner who is sending to me, they could find a note card with books or cats on it, write a personal note and put it in an envelope. Then they could find or make a postcard, write a happy note, send that. and so on. The postage should be the most expensive part of this swap, but I'm hoping it won't be too costly, and please feel free to send the items in one package if it is less costly for you to mail. The minimum should be a profile based postcard each day for 7 days.
