Should the skeins still be "as sold" or is it OK if they've been wrapped onto a bobbin?

Just wanted some clarification and it is not really a big deal either way, but the swap says that there is only going to be 1 partner and the description says 1 partner, yet when I go to see my partners I have two. Which is correct??
