This swap calls for you to crochet a manly scarf, something to keep him warm this winter in style! Sender's choice of pattern and type of yarn. Please post here about allergies and color preferences. Make your partner happy and check back here before starting your scarf. This would make a nice gift, so put some effort into it please. That doesn't mean that it can't be simple and still be attractive. Just send something your partners will love to receive! There are patterns all over the internet, but I made a simple scarf for hubby last year that he really likes. So here is the pattern: With 2 skeins of a flecked medium gray, worsted-weight acrylic yarn and an H or I hook, chain 200. Then I did rows of HDC in the back loops only for 12 rows. Be careful not to lose stitches when you turn:) This made a 72" long scarf, about 5" wide. I crochet loosely, so adjust pattern as necessary. This pattern makes a nice rib pattern. Very simple, very easy, looks great! FYI I did NOT add fringe. Come on! On a man's scarf? Well, if you want, but.... 4.8 or higher for this swap. Newbies welcome, must PM me before joining. Be sure to protect your item when shipping. We want it to make it to our partners safe and sound. Anyway, you will have 5 weeks to work on this project. Start early and do a little here, a little there. I love portable projects! Happy Swapping! EDIT: I am happy to help some fairly new swappers get started here on swap-bot. I will angel this swap, if necessary. |
