I just LOVE fall! Every fall yellows and browns and reds color our view. This phenomena of leaf transformation brightens the world. One last flare of energy before fading out. The physical and chemical makeup of leaves are constant and immutable. Their color changing patterns are irregular yet what remains constant is that they will change colors and fall to earth. These changes occur as the light dwindles in the northern hemisphere and the mercury drops. Branches become bare only the produce new leaves next year following the path of those previous. Leaves die so that trees may sustain their life trough winter and their nutrient rich compost scatters the ground to be used by those trees which dropped them. I love the changing of the leaves and how some trees look like fire when the sun hits them just right. This swap is to take 4 photo's and send (mail) to 2 partners so that is 8 photo's total. You can print your photo's out or have them done like I do as I love film camera's so I take mine to have printed out. You will take pictures of the fall leaves in your area and please write a little something about why you took the picture. What drew your eye to that spot. Also, for some added fun throw in some leaves! heehee Not only can someone see a beautiful photo of the leaves in your area but perhaps get a leaf or two :) This should be a fun swap. I know each area the leaves change differently so it is hard for me to really put a good end date so please get your cameras ready and take your pictures when they are at full fall color and if you can't send leaves as well this is ok as I am sure extra pictures will be heart worthy :) Have fun and HAPPY FALL Y'ALL! |
