Another Time, Another Place

Having just started a group named "Another Time, Another Place" I thought a public swap would be appropriate to get the group started!!!

Our group description is:

Love the ritual of Victorian afternoon tea? Enjoy reading a letter with beautiful penmanship? Adore dressing in Regency dresses? Desire to learn tatting? Do you wish to combine the historical with the modern?

If you often wander through the past and wish to create and share with like minded people, this may be the group for you!

All historically minded folks will be welcome here, from historically accurate SCAdians, Jane Austen fans, Regency Reenactors, Civil War buffs to the creative Steampunk!

So let's keep this swap relatively easy. Please send to your two swap partners:

1. A hand written page of at least 5 of your favorite historical/ author/ fiction quotes (to practice our handwriting).
2. A small snack ( a small packet of cookies, chocolate or candies or perhaps a bag of tea (to practice hospitality).

Due to shipping food or tea type products this will be a US only swap. Newbies are welcome to join (I will angel if necessarily), but no 1's in the last 6 months. PM me if you have any questions.
