I have never made a button fairy before. What size should they be and does anyone have a good tutorial or pattern that a newbie can go by?

There are several tutorials on the Internet. . . just key in buton fairy and you should get several sites to go to. . . has anyone ever done ribbon fairies? Same priniciple but you use ribbons instead of buttons ~~
